Thousands of college students will gather to re-imagine how their Christian faith should inform the way they study, play, work and live out every area of life. The Jubilee Conference is designed to help you wrestle deeply with the challenges of being students of Jesus, and professors; citizens of His Kingdom, and of this world. UPAC discount available:  We can offer ½ off the cost of the conference. You can enter “Erica Young Reitz” as your campus minister and pay ½ of the current rate.  Cost includes 2 nights in hotel, all conference sessions, carpool to Pittsburgh, and some meals.

SENIOR EXIT Retreat Fall 2009

11/15: SENIOR EXIT Retreat

For graduating PSU seniors.* Break away from the campus chaos with other seniors who are in the same shoes. A time to eat some good food, connect with friends for the journey, consider the transition ahead, and discuss the important topic of Biblical Decision Making.

Sunday, Nov 15: 10-4pm at Harvest Fields. *(December ’09 or May 2010 grads welcome). Hot breakfast and lunch provided. No cost.

FAITH FOR THOUGHT THIS WEEKEND!

10/31: FAITH FOR THOUGHT – registration deadline is Wednesday, October 28!

A one-day conference at Calvary where people (esp. students and grad students) can come together to explore how our Christian faith connects to our ordinary, everyday, going-to-class, showing-up-at work, sleeping, eating, walking-around lives. It’s for any person who wants to who wants to connect real faith with real life.

We’re looking forward to incredible day filled with a challenging keynote talk, great breakout discussions (on all kinds of topics), and even some unique opportunities to use our hands in something new this year: our tactile sessions!

JOINT WORSHIP THIS WEEKEND!

10/18: JOINT WORSHIP GATHERING(S) AND FALL FEST

All gatherings* will join for two joint worship gatherings at 9am and 11am at Midtown. An indoor Fall Fest will follow from 12:30-4pm at Calvary 1250 University Drive building. Fun for the whole Calvary family! PSU Van will be running according to regular Midtown pick-up times with multiple return trips to campus throughout the day. In the HS cafeteria, just following Midtown. A time to eat, connect, and get inspired by our guest speaker. This month, Rebecca Corwin will share how she moved from atheism to belief as well as how she integrates her faith with her work in the Nutrition field.

DOULOS RETREAT 2009

10/2-4: DOULOS FALL RETREAT

A time to get away from campus to relax, play and learn. A time to grow closer to God and each other. Departs 5:30pm on Friday, Returns 3pm on Sunday. Cost $45.
